Mail Day! Topps Project 70 - Vladimir Guerrero Jr. x DJ Skee

DJ Skee may have the best cards in this set, at least for me personally! Not a single miss, and although I haven’t bought every single one that he’s done, I’ve wanted to.  This one, however, was MUST HAVE as a Blue Jays & Drake fan.   The details: Player: Vladimir Guerrero Jr. Card Style:  2021 Topps Baseball Artist:  DJ Skee Number Produced: 3040 The way they managed to hit so many of Drake’s album covers in this one RULES . This is easily my #1 Project 70 release thus far.

Weekly Wrestling Recap - September 5, 2021 to September 11, 2021

I want to get used to writing more so I’ve decided I’ll start doing weekly recaps of wrestling I watched, with some quick reviews! This week was arguably too much wrestling for how busy things have been, but here we are. Clocked in at 5 shows over 7 days, included one of the funnest shows of the year. Shows this week: AEW All Out (Sept 5) - 4.5/5 WWE Raw (Sept 6) - 1.25/5 WWE NXT (Sept 7) - 2. 5/5 AEW Dynamite (Sept 8) - 3/5 WWE SmackDown (Sept 10) - 4.25/5 ——————— AEW All Out Maybe the funnest show of the year yet for me? The card on paper I though was a bit weak but just about everything delivered from a match quality perspective.  Lucha Bros vs Young Bucks is probably my favourite match of the year so far.. plus, how cool was the live entrance for Lucha Bros? The Adam Cole & Bryan Danielson debuts/closing segment was one of those all time cool moments as a wrestling fan. An amazing way to cap off a solid night of wrestling Christian vs Kenny Omega exceeded my expectations. I tho

Lets Pull Some Cards! Prestige Football 2021 Fat Pack

I had the urge to rip some cards, but shelves were relatively bare. I found some fat packs by the registers at Walmart so I grabbed one just for the fun of it. Nothing really worth while in the pack, but I’ve been slack on blog posts recently so I figured I would throw what I pulled on here. Base Cards: Rookies: Inserts/Variants: Satisfied the itch to open some cards! No Chicago Bears cards though! *thumbs down* For more, check out  this archive  or all my pack & box breaks !

Kaizen Pro Wrestling: 2nd Anniversary Show

I’ve decided to take a page out of the  Armadillo Dave  playbook and blog about the local promotion! They’re awesome, and if even one person decides to buy a ticket locally or stream them on IWTV, then the time it took to type up this post was well worth it. They bust their asses, put on amazing shows, and bring in awesome talent who are new to the scene. A couple years back a new promotion started here in Nova Scotia, based out of Dartmouth. Kaizen Pro Wrestling. It’s a solid collection of some of the best up and coming  wrestlers in the Maritimes, plus the talent seem to use connections made along the way to bring in some really cool fresh faces. They just hit their second anniversary, and this is my first show back after missing a few during the pandemic. The card unfortunately had a bit of a shuffle as Rip Byson and Delmi Exo had a family emergency. I’m not sure why it didn’t go as they mentioned, but Mya Malik was added to the scramble match, and Sam Shields wasn’t there. Hoping a
