I’ve been quiet on the blog lately - life’s been busy and work has been even busier! But guess what I got my hands on today!? That’s right, I finally got a blaster of Topps 2021 Series 1. My main goal on this was to get a base Alec Bohm rookie card, which didn’t happen, but there was some nice stuff and it was fun to just rip some new product! Anyways! What I pulled! Base Cards: Rookies: Inserts & Variants: Not a bad haul! I love the new design a lot more than the standard 2020 design.

I knew this was coming, but I thought it was being sent via Loomis.. so finding it in my Canada Post parcel locker today was a welcomed surprise! This is the first time I’ve ordered on Deep Discount, and although it was quite the wait, I think it was worth it considering I saved quite a bit in comparison to shopping on Ringside Collectibles. The second this was release I KNEW I needed to have 2 - one to keep in box and one to open up and display on the figure shelf. This figure is a ton of fun, and i would imagine Jazwares had a lot of fun designing this.  The way they did the shirt and jacket was cool. It made for not having the Velcro strip that holds it all together to pretty unnoticeable. I wouldn’t say this worth putting in any figure of the year conversations or anything like that... but it’s a lot of fun. I had some stuff sitting in my inventory that I was ready to have shipped, plus some stuff I was looking at I wanted to buy.
